How long is your foot? (Measurement in the Middles)

Today in Maths, Middle N measured the length our feet. Our learning intention was to measure the length in centimetres also known as cm.We had to choose 10 people from our class and measure the length of their foot. After we measured 10 people we answered four questions. After we collected the data we made a graph sorting our data by foot size.
Tips for good measuring!
When you measure you always start measuring at zero. If your ruler only has millimetres just cover up the last zero. That is because there is 10 mm in 1 cm. If measuring a foot like we did then put the zero on your ruler on the heel of the foot.
The difference of the biggest and smallest foot was six centimetres. The range is 19cm to 25cm.
Middle N enjoyed it.We all had lots of fun!
